All classes must be pre-registered at least 48 hours in advance, and you must receive confirmation, either by e-mail or from speaking to a Health Department staff member directly, of your registration to attend the class. If you DO NOT receive a phone call or confirmation e-mail, please call the office at 816-513-6015 to confirm registration or to register by phone.

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the class. Classes begin promptly at the time listed on the schedules. Please arrive early; late arrivals will need to reschedule to attend class at a future date. Please bring a pen and paper with you to the class.
You will be asked to sign a release to allow the Health Department to take your picture for the card. You may do this at the time of getting the card.
Please note: if the school districts close schools near the Health Department due to inclement weather, Food Handler classes will likely be cancelled as well. Please call to confirm possible weather cancellations of Handler or Manager classes.
