The Animal Health and Public Safety Division is on contract to provide animal control services for the unincorporated areas of Jackson County and other nearby towns.

Residents of unincorporated areas of Jackson County may call the 3-1-1 Action Center at (816) 513-1313 for assistance.

Residents of the towns of Buckner, Greenwood, Lone Jack, Sugar Creek, Levasy, Sibley and Unity Village who need animal control services must call their municipality for assistance, as the call to the 3-1-1 Action Center must come from an agent of the municipality.
