Honorable Marcia Walsh

Marcia Walsh was the first female Kansas City municipal judge.

Marcia Walsh is named a Municipal Court judge, becoming the first woman to serve on that court in Kansas City, Mo.

Her background includes master's and law degrees from the University of Kansas and ten years as an attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri.

Judge Walsh announces her intent to work toward a pre-trial diversion program in domestic violence cases as an alternative to handling such cases entirely through the courts.
